How can I organize events for the organizational unit (OU) I am a volunteer officer for?
- To organize events you need to select a topic area that you want to pursue.
- Once topic area is decided, you can start looking for a presenter/group of presenters/speakers/… who can add value to the technical area.
- You should then use the IEEE vTools Events page to post your event, advertise it to IEEE members, monitor/manage registration, communicate with registrants and report the attendance to IEEE (please note that you should be listed as an officer in vTools to be able to manage this page).
