The Section Chair must review the specifications for the Local Group, ensure that it does not conflict with any other IEEE Groups (such as a Chapter or Affinity Group), and either Approve or Deny the request in vTools.<\/p>\n<p>Log in with your IEEE Account at <a href=\"https:\/\/vtools.vtools.ieee.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/vtools.vtools.ieee.org\/<\/a>. Click \u201cLocal Groups,\u201d then \u201cLocal Group Request\u201d on the left.
