As previously announced, IEEE Region 3 is offering grants to Region 3 Sections and their Chapters, Affinity Groups, and Student Branches to work on projects that address problems impacting humanity and that involve one or more of IEEE’s Future Directions Initiatives in the proposed solution. Now, in addition to the application process outlined in that announcement, you can choose to apply for funding during a live session at SoutheastCon 2024. This 75-minute live session is currently scheduled to be held on Friday, March 22nd at 9:30 AM EDT. You can choose to join that session either in-person in Atlanta, or via WebEx.

Groups who want to apply using this alternate approach should complete the SoutheastCon_2024_Projects_Funding_Request_Template and register at https://events.vtools.ieee.org/m/406629. It is important to register through the link so that we know how many submissions to expect, so that we can send you the WebEx link for the meeting, and so that we can notify you if there are any schedule changes. The WebEx link will be distributed to registrants at least 24 hours in advance of the meeting.
