The IEEE MGA team supplies WordPress shared web hosting only. Access to a shared server is limited, so you will not be able to upload plugins and themes. New plugins and themes will need to be approved and new administrators also need approval, so please email ewh-webmaster [at] ieee [dot] org for approvals. We do not support Drupal, Joomla, or dedicated servers. We also do not supply IEEE domain names such as yp.ieee.org

*** IMPORTANT *** We also do not provide FTP, and we do not recommend a vendor, designer, or staff working on a separate development or staging server. If we need to migrate from an off-site server that is not part of IEEE systems, there is a high risk the website will break and will need to be rebuilt because of dependency issues. Please work on our environment when building your websites.

For Conferences only:

1. Your conference must be approved by IEEE Conferences, Events, and Experiences before we can supply web hosting for a WordPress site. 2. Once your conference is approved, you can fill out this form: https://attend.ieee.org/hosting-request/ to request web hosting.
3. If you require a unique domain name ie wordpress.ieee.org, the IEEE branding team must approve your domain name. Please request a domain name here: https://brand-experience.ieee.org/guidelines/digital/site-registration-form/
4. If you need additional administrators added to your website or require additional support for your WordPress website, please email ewh-webmaster [at] ieee [dot] org

For OUs:

1. You can request web hosting here: https://site.ieee.org/web-hosting-request/ Again, please make sure your officer reporting is up to date here: https://officers.vtools.ieee.org/ If we cannot confirm a current officer, your web hosting request will be rejected.
